The new Boston Marks Prepaid Visa Card is the simple and secure way to transfer money from your FAIRshare account to spend in-store, shop online, by phone or mail order. It's much safer than carrying cash and because you can only spend the amount you've loaded onto your card it's easier to stay in control of your money. The cost of transferring money from your FAIRshare account onto your card is only £1.25 and includes a FREE SMS text message and/or email every time your card is loaded. But the really good news is the FREE cash back facility (available at most major supermarkets) which means you can avoid any ATM charges simply by requesting the cash you want at the till. You can add up to three Companion Cards to your Primary Prepaid Visa Card and arrange an instant transfer for your children, family and friends (as long as they are aged 14 or older). It’s just like topping up the credit on their mobile. There is a one off charge of £2.50 per Companion Card issued which will be debited from your FAIRshare account. As the Primary cardholder you can set a maximum spend limit, view all your own and your Companion cardholder’s transactions online. Companion cardholders are only able to view their own transactions. You can now make payments into your credit union account wherever you see the PayPoint sign. There are over 50 PayPoint terminals in the Borough of Telford & Wrekin located in post offices, newsagents, supermarkets, garages and convenience stores. PayPoint is a convenient and secure way to pay money into your credit union account wherever you see the PayPoint sign. So rather than having to come in to the Town Centre - or visiting your nearest collection point - you can now pay money into your account locally whenever it’s most convenient for you.
