Join for free on ICU Day!  To celebrate International Credit Union (ICU) Day we’re offering FREE membership to anyone joining FAIRshare on ICU Day, Thursday 18th October, 2018.

As part of our International Credit Union Day celebrations we’ll waive our usual £5 membership fee, if you join FAIRshare on Thursday 18th October 2018.  So join the 235 million credit union members in 109 countries around the world, and become a member of FAIRshare, your local credit union.

How to join for free on ICU Day

Everyone who lives, works or studies in Shropshire or the Borough of Telford, or works for a Shropshire or Telford based company, can join FAIRshare.

Join Online

To join online click here, and complete our online membership application form.  You will need a debit or credit card to pay the one-off membership fee (£5) & your first saving deposit (£1 minimum).  On ICU Day, your £5 membership fee will be added to your savings, making your first saving deposit a minimum of £6.

We are required by law to confirm the identity and address of all new applications for membership, and will do this electronically.  If the electronic verification fails, we will contact you and ask you to provide additional documentation.

We will process your membership application within 24 hours of you submitting it.  Any applications received over the weekend or on public holidays will be processed on the following working day.

Please note – You must be over 18 years to join online, due to the electronic ID verification process.

Join in Branch

You can also join FAIRshare at our Telford branch.  To Join FAIRshare –

1. Complete an application form
2. Deposit your first £1 saving deposit (membership fee waived on ICU Day)
3. Provide proof of identity and your address – click here for accepted identification documents
